therapy rooted in connection, curiosity, and compassion
a space to slow down and explore your inner world
I believe healing begins with curiosity
I’m Gina, a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) offering individual therapy for adults in South Burlington, Vermont, and virtually throughout Vermont and Massachusetts.
The ways we navigate the world often make sense in the context of our life experiences. Together, we'll get curious about the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped you, to better understand the present and create space for lasting change.
My approach is rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself can be deeply healing. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported as we explore your story together.
I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, and other evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to you. Above all, I strive to provide an inclusive, affirming space where every client feels respected, understood, and welcome.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is my approach. I believe the most effective therapy is tailored to each person. Together, we'll work to better understand what has shaped you, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, perfectionism, life transitions, unresolved trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and reconnect with yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion.
-
While every person's story is unique, I frequently work with adults experiencing:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Perfectionism and self-criticism
Relationship and attachment concerns
Life transitions and identity exploration
Trauma and the lasting impact of difficult experiences
Emotional overwhelm and nervous system dysregulation
Low self-worth or difficulty trusting yourself
Feeling stuck or disconnected from the life you want to live
-
My work is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I thoughtfully integrate evidence-based approaches based on your needs, goals, and preferences.
These may include:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Attachment-based therapy
Self-compassion practices
Mindfulness and nervous system regulation
Neuroscience-informed interventions
Above all, I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership, one where you feel supported and empowered to better understand yourself.

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who are uninsured or choose not to use their insurance benefits with a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the anticipated cost of your care before you begin services or upon request. The estimate outlines the expected charges for the services you are reasonably expected to receive. It is an estimate only and is not a bill; actual services or costs may change based on your clinical needs.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
If you have questions or would like to request a Good Faith Estimate, please don't hesitate to reach out.
